A clash broke out between the students in Kabul University dormitory this afternoon with the main cause of the incident yet to be ascertained.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that a clash broke out between the students in Kabul University dormitory but did not elaborate further regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to reports, the students hurled stones at each other and the sounds of gunshots were also heard from the area.
A spokesman for the Kabul Police Commandment Basir Mujahid also confirmed the incident and said the police forces have brought the situation under control.
The security officials have not commented regarding the possible casualties inflicted on students during the clash.
But eyewitnesses and unconfirmed reports claim that one person has lost his life during the clash and at least ten others have sustained injuries.
