The loyalists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) which is locally known by its Arabic name Daesh launched a radio in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan about three months before.
They would broadcast Pashto language programs through the radio named ‘Khilafat Ghag Radio’ or ‘Voice of the Caliphate’.
