The Office of the President, ARG palace, says the contracts for 11 major projects were reviewed the latest meeting of the National Procurement Commission.
According to a statement released by ARG Palace, the NPC meeting was organized late on Sunday and was chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
The statement further added that the meeting reviewed contracts for 11 major projects and proved three of the contracts having a total value of 204.3 million Afghanis.
According to ARG Palace, the contracts approved during the meeting include procurement of electrical equipment for Syedabad electricity in Maidan Wardak province, procurement of 30 food items for the Ministry of Interior, and procurement of various types of batteries for the weaponry and technical directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting also approved the modifications for a number of contracts including the construction of wall over 5000 acres of land in Balkh customs department, national survey for pests and agricultural diseases control, renting of 25 K9s for 101 Asmayee Zone Commandment in Kabul, and procurement of dairy items for the ministry of defense.
