The “New Scythians” was released on Persian language in Afghanistan

The book “New Scythians” was published by the well-known Russian writer and ethnographer Pavel Zarifullin translated in Persian language in Afghanistan. This book was published by “Wazhah” Publications in February in Kabul. “This is the first Russian book published in Persian,” Qasem Farzam, director of the “Wazhah” Publishing House said: “The book “New Scythians from Russian writer and it was a great experience. This research has been conducted on the roots of the people of Eurasia and their major future in the new civilization of the world. Our saying is “The Significance of Written Legacy and the Development of Culture and Knowledge,” and so we decided to do this with Mr. (Paul Zarifullin). The results were very positive, and we also tend to publish other books by this author.”

Qasem Farzam also says: “In the book market of Afghanistan, unfortunately, literary books are scarce, and we are trying to eliminate the available space by publishing such books. We are glad to have the opportunity to recount the cultural heritage of Russia.”

The author believes that his book can meet the market demand for books in Afghanistan, he says: “Since the Scythians people are still present in Afghanistan and speak Scythians dialect similar to the eastern Iranian language, to be effective. The “New Scythians” Book talks about order of the world and is an alternative to populist and primitive Islamism, which are now being advertised by the Taliban and ISIS.

This book has been republished by a well-known Journalist and translator known as Hazrat Wariz. Mr. Wariz has also been able to translate works by Anna Akhmatov, Svetlana Aleksievich and even Venedikt Erofiyev, which now has a great reputation. Mr. Wariz believes that the book “New Scythians” is a new attempt to shape a new world view based on the ideas of Greek rationalism, Western philosophy and political economy.

Hazrat Wariz says: “When you are getting ready to translate the book of such writer, you’re experiencing a difficult challenge, Zarifullin is very studying guy, and he is familiar with many manuscripts; he is a good ethnographer who is always on the journey. Hence, he knows wonderful things about the nuances of the people. He is well aware of the future philosophy of the people and the future of the human community. It was very difficult for me to translate the book “New Scythians” into Persian. In order to succeed, I needed to find out about the myths, legends, and religious ceremonies of people from South Africa and Scandinavia to the north Russians, Mongolia, Yakutia, Pomerania, Iran and India, and from there to Kyrgyzstan. I do a lot of research; then I realized that there are many interesting things in our world. ”

The book translator continues to: “After a little while I graduated from the university, I received the responsibility to translate book of Lev Gumilev under the name of the “discovery of the Hazaras”. Unfortunately, this work remained unfinished due to the challenges of live, but that work gives me a great contribution to translate the “New Scythians” Mr. Wariz adds: “I turned Persian poems from Anna Akhmatov and Nikolai Gumilev into Persian, I always respected their poems and their thoughts, because they are the purest of the functionalities of human culture.”

Younis Tughyan, a professor at the University of Kabul, who was teaching Hazrat Wariz, once talked about the people of Afghanistan and the “Scythians” people. He was one of the professors who wanted to teach students to see Russia from another perspective. Students also read the Russian discoveries with enthusiasm, including the work of Mr. Le Gumilev. Mr. Wariz says the book “New Scythians” will be warmly welcomed among the academic community and students in Afghanistan and Iran.
